An announcement for the COVID-19
Like many other businesses and arts organizations, the Knox County Symphony has had to re-imagine its traditions and programming in ways greatly different than any year in its 55-year history due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The good news is that rehearsals have started for the orchestra, but in order to do so, the membership has been significantly reduced in order to achieve proper social distancing among the musicians, and the programs feature strings-only repertoire. The not-so-good news is that we have had to suspend our annual Children's Concert as well as the Young Musicians Competition in the interest of safety.
We will attempt to use some virtual format to perform for our patrons, either by livestream or recording, and at times to be announced in November and April.
Thank you for your continued support of the Knox County Symphony. We are greatly looking forward to seeing all of you next season! Until then, please stay in touch. SIGN UP BELOW TO RECEIVE ALL OF OUR ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFORMATION THIS YEAR.

Dear Friends,
One of my favorite attributes of live music is its inherent ability to bring people together. Not being able to enjoy live concerts with you has been one of the greatest complexities of pandemic life. Even though we are not offering our usual programming this season, music is still a wonderful way to connect, as the Symphony is staying proactive in bringing music to our community. As always, thank you for your unwavering generosity and your loyalty in support of exceptional classical music. I hope that we will be together soon!
